- This car began life as a 1965 coupe. It was professionally converted to a fastback in California before arriving in NZ in 2017. The conversion is a ‘non-structural roof replacement’ meaning the frame rails are bolted and original structural elements—A & B pillars, rockers, rear guards, and taillight panel—remain untouched. Every part has been stripped, checked, or replaced. The underside was carefully cleaned, photographed, and repainted with correct oxide etch primer. All factory-style marks were reapplied—right down to the blue diff runs. Painted in two-pack Wimbledon White with removable Martini livery.
Suspension & Brakes:
- Fomoco R suspension kit: springs, sway bar, shocks, control arms, bushes, bump stops, saddles—all new
- New front discs, rebuilt calipers, new reservoir
- Rebuilt rear brakes, fully balanced
Drivetrain:
- T10 gearbox and 8” diff stripped, inspected, rebuilt
- New clutch
- New Hurst shifter

- Compression tested
- Heads removed, inspected, reassembled to correct tolerances
