- 19,500ks on the clock

- Finished in its original 025 Aubergine over a re-trimmed black leather interior

- Car is powered by a 2.7 litre mechanically fuel-injected flat 6 running through a five-speed 915 box

- This 1973 911, acquired in 2012 as a matching-numbers no accidents rust-free one family-owned California car, was restored from bare metal over nearly 3 years. The result is a faithful continuation with the benefits of Porsche’s 2.7 RS and and more.

Apart from the completely restored exterior and interior, the car has upgrade parts alone totalling over $115,000 including:

- Mahle 2.7RS pistons and barrels, Carrillo rods, S cams, Supertec and ARP studs, and RSR flywheel

- Bosch “019” MFI pump (correct year-casting)

- 2.7RS tapered velocity stacks and throttle bodies

- SSI heat exchangers and 70mm sport muffler

- Carrera hydraulic tensioners, oil pump and front cooler

- Turbo lower valve covers

- Guard Transmission limited-slip differential

- Patrick Racing billet trans sideplate

- Bilstein sport rear shocks and front struts with 19mm drop

- Alloy front cross-member and trailing arms

- Glen Sander Engineering custom 21mm / 26mm torsion bars

- Turbo tie rods

- Tarett 18mm F/19mm R adjustable sway bars

- Elephant Racing finned oil lines and suspension bushings

- 17” forged Singer Zuchs rims custom-built in 7” width with 7R offset running 225 and 205 Pirellis

- The interior was fully renewed using GTS Classics seats trimmed in black leather, RS Perlon carpets, a bone headliner and a period MOMO Jackie Stewart wheel

- Palo Alto-restored “S” tachometer and NOS 300 km/h “silver button” speedometer

- Wevo Classic shifter and coupling

- NOS steel “S” front bumper/spoiler

- NOS chrome flag mirrors (L/R)

- Since completion, the car has been driven and enjoyed - not stored - including 2 circuits of the South Island taking in the Classic Alpine Tour in '20 and '24.

- Personalised plate, fresh tune and fluids will be included in sale.
