- 80,000ks on the clock - April built 1981 early Delorean ment it featured, fuel flap in bonnet & door pulls attached to handles. Original 5 speed manual gearbox/transaxle, with black interior (not the movie screen - back to the future car gray interior) - Motor has been rebuilt, new rings, bearings, timing chains and guilds and balanced with mild street camshafts by kennly cams - Engine has been converted to EFI and 4age individual throttle bodys and ls coils on plug too - Recently tuned by flame performance in Christchurch, New Zealand - Seats have been restored with the correct leather kit from the UK, new carpets, dashboard recovered - Original cassette player and display remain the same. - Dark gray wheels as per the early car spec's - both 14' original wheels and 15' wheels that are on the front come with the car (very hard to get 15' for the front) - Has been lowered on chamberlain chch springs and handles very well. Other reliability upgrades are high torque starter motor, high amp alternator, high flow radiator and modern cooling fans, gps speedo drive, lca support braces, rear chassis braces. All updates ensure reliable motoring.
